キツイ,危ないという評がたってます(笑)チャレンジコースですが,資格認定期間を延長しているようですね

先程知りました

ちなみに,普通の登山道ですので,しっかり準備だけはしていただき,制限時間精一杯使って楽しんでくださいね

自分の飲み物,食料などは自分で持つのが基本のスポーツですが,地元の方々もドキドキしながら準備をしてくださっていますし,コース上にはサポートスタッフが散在しますので,少しだけ安心してエントリーしてくださいね

西もも@も,チャレンジのマーシャルとしてお会い出来ると思います!

Nagi Peaks Tough Trail Challenge is the first trail adventure race in Tysuyama - Mimasaka district in Okayama prefecture, Japan.

RACE INFORMATION

Location
岡山県津山市西下1100-1
Okayama-ken, Tsuyama-shi, Nishishita 1100-1
Shoboku Sougou Sports Koen (Shoboku Regional Sports Park)
Tsuyama-shi Shohoku Regional Sports Park (Tsuyama City)

Course Summary
Follow forest / rocky trails that wind through the foothills of the rugged and jagged Nagi mountain range. Some trails at Yamagata-sen have recently been reworked with the help of many locals.

Weather
Average highs for this time of the year are in the mid 20’s and lows in the low 10’s. While a sudden shower and/or a cold snap do happen, expect beautiful running weather in the so-called ‘Land of the Sun’! ( OKAYAMA Pref.)

Hotels
Local tourist information center will offer some nice staying plans and there are some nice Japanese style hotels ‘onsen-ryokan’ ( with hot spring spa) around Yunogo hot-spa area. ( 20 min drive from start area ) Reasonable Hotels and inns at reasonable charge are available, of course. See official website and contact the organizer from 'Contact us and Inquiry.'

Bib Pickup
June 2 & 3, 2018

Aid Stations
3 aid stations including water, electrolyte drink, coke, sweet snacks, salty snacks, miso-soup, rice balls and fruit. (Offered items depend on each station.) For the best performance and security, participants required to run with at least one( for middle ) / two ( for challege ) liter(s) of water, maps, ration and bear bell.

Cupless Events
In an effort to continually lessen our race footprint, we are going to offer cupless race. We will have some types of reusable cups available at registration/information on race day in case, or feel free to bring your own!

Photography
To capture both your pain and euphoria along the way, photography staff will be out on the course. You get photographers who are also runners and understand what your race photos mean to you!

Crews
Crews are welcome to support runners at 3 aids / start area. Start area will serve as headquarter for the duration of the 15 hour event.

Awards
Awards to the top 3 male & female finishers at each age category.
All finishers will receive a finisher award.

Volunteer Helpers
If you would like to join our volunteer team, we are looking for help with event setup, aid station captains, aid station helpers, timing, photography, videography, social media, course sweep and event breakdown. Cutoff for all races is 8 PM on Sunday (15 hours after start).

COURSE INFORMATION
Courses
All courses feature a wide variety of Japanese-typical forest trail surfaces including slippy track, old local paths, fallen leaves, rocks, and boulders. Be prepared for a wide variety of conditions both in weather and surface, rain or shine, from very well defined to far more remote.

Race Day Schedule
Please arrive early to park, check in and warm up prior to your run. Restroom facilities are located at the start line as portable restrooms.

Timeline
Sunday, June 3, 2018
3:00 – 4:00AM – Packet pickup / race day registration
4:21 AM – Begin civil twilight
4:50 AM – Sunrise
5:00 AM – 48 Kilometer Start
8:00 AM - 26 Kilometer Start

7:13 PM – Sunset
7:43 PM – End civil twilight
8:00 PM – Final Cutoff


Trail Running & Trash
Please respect the trails and the beauty of the forest by disposing of any trash at aid stations and picking up any trash you find.

Race Timing
We will be utilizing a chip timing system at this event to record your time at the finish. You will be provided with a timing chip. It is important to not crease, or fold the timing chip to ensure your finish time is read. Results will be displayed on a screen at the finish line.
